OLFA/FINE ART SENIOR ONE/ INTRODUCTION TO ART

In this course, we will be having an introduction to art in general and its relevance to us as individuals and community This course will include the following unit components;

• Drawing and painting, This will basically aim on the elements and principles of art.
• Graphic arts and this will including letter construction and pattern work
• Decorative art, mainly emphasizing modeling with coils
• Fabric decoration, we will be looking at block printing
• Sculpture. we shall be introduced to materials like clay, fiber and peppier marche.
• Integrated craft skills. basket making adaptations will be emphasized

Art being a practical course, learners will have to acquire these tools and materials to help them practice art.

• drawing board
• art pencil (HB and 4B)
