GEO1/6: MAP WORK

MAP WORK INVOLVES THREE MAIN ASPECTS ie Map Reading: This involves the recognition of natural and man-made features and their spatial relationships on the map. Map interpretation: This is concerned not only with the recognition but also with the assessment of their significance. Map analysis: This includes all aspects of reading and interpretation but proceeds to evaluate the interrelationships of features represented by the map in preparation for their classification and assessment.
